Restaurante Central De Vilamoura

Fantastic and amazing. My wife and I went to Chico’s and were greeted with a warm friendly and family feel. The passion they have to make your experience (I say experience as it was not just about food) you have there totally amazing. Especially Chico himself who was fantastic host. Not only were the people there great the food was superb. We went away totally satisfied and we are definitely going back on the wife’s birthday as I cannot think of a nicer place to be while here in Vilamoura. Be careful with the crazy juice Chico likes to serve (it is really good)

What a special treat in Vilamoura away from the tourist feel of the marina restaurants! We loved it so much that we chose to dine here twice during our short stay in the Algarve. Chico and his manager Francisco made us feel like royalty and we enjoyed delicious fresh seafood, chocolate mousse and his wife’s home baked cheesecake. We enjoyed talking to him and he went out of his way to make sure the fish was free of any bones. We can highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning someday. Don’t miss out on this local gem

At first glance Chico’s is a small, unassuming family run little restaurant. The service is warm, friendly and very genuine. The food, however, is outstanding with the meat and seafood succulent, fresh and beautifully prepared.

A locally owned restaurant with local staff. Steaks were done perfectly, prices were very favourable for the area. The host, Chico was fun and not at all overbearing and the staff all friendly with just the right level of engagement. They were careful to point out the small charge, a few cents, for butter, bread & olives. Can’t understand why this is such an issue for a few people, it keeps the main course prices down. Lovely meal and a relaxing evening.

The service was superb and the food was outstanding. We had sea bass and lamb chops and both dishes were delicious. We plan on returning before we leave Portugal.

This restaurant has changed hands and has a new chef. The offering is good. We had the set lunch menu for €12.99 which includes olives/bread, soup, main dish (our choice w as Sea Bass or Pork Ribs), desert, coffee and a glass of wine/beer or non alcoholic. We were very impressed with what we had. The presentation was good as was the actual taste. Value for money was superb. We will visit again before we leave.

Little gem tooked away from the marina, Mexican food and steaks. Good wine choice. There were 5 of us, and although we hadn't booked and they were busy still accommodated us.

Absolutely fantastic food and service. We wanted a break from fish (they also serve fresh fish) and ordered the Argentinian Picanha with cheese for 2 as it was recommended by the server. The meat is delicious and well cooked, and it is a large portion which includes fries, rice, beans and the best chorizo I tried to date. The oranges and grilled pineapple were also a nice touch. Bring cash and your appetite.
